I highly doubt that race was a factor but I’ll bet my bottom dollar that lack of insurance certainly was.
Ever looked around in an urban hospital emergency department like Dallas Presby? There are signs ALL over in multiple languages declaring how you CANNOT be denied care for lack of insurance or funds.
When a person comes to a hospital and says they are sick, they don’t just admit them on a hunch. There HAS to be an evidence-based diagnosis. When this guy got to the hospital, whatever symptoms he was presenting with , and WHATEVER he told the workers about his history, did not add up to an admission.
This is not racism, it’s public healthcare.
Now every uninsured african fever is going to get a private (isolation?) room.
“I highly doubt that race was a factor but Ill bet my bottom dollar that lack of insurance certainly was.”
Can’t be, we have obamacare.
No. You are so misinformed. Lack of insurance does not prevent treatment.
You’d lose your ‘bottom dollar’.
