I'm surprised we haven't crossed paths before (that I know of) here on FR since our ideas are seemingly congruent. Teddy Roosevelt did say a few good things about the dangers of a balkanized America. But that doesn't make up for his progressivism, a trait shared by quite a few nominal Republicans of that era including George William Norris and "Fighting" Bob M. La Follette. And...don't get me started on his pernicious land grab resulting in the Nationalized Park system. Yep, indeed no fan of TR here!
I think we did have a small discussion on rhetoric and strategy with regards to the illegal menace. Good to hear someone else recognizes the truth of the first enviro-wacko President, TR. Nobody with principles speaks softly.
I’ve seen your posts a lot on this forum, and they are always (without exception) worth reading. Your posts remind me of another great conservative I knew on another forum who I learned a lot from, although I can’t quite think of the forum’s name. Just remembering him psyches me out.
