We hold the RECORD!!! Yay for us! The last THREE of our governors went to prison including Ryan, a Republican. Illinois. If I weren’t trapped here by my business which depends on Chicago clientele and a bad downturn which hurt cash flow, I’d be gone in a heartbeat.
Illinois is run by Cook County Democrats up north in league with Combine Republicans down south.
And it won’t matter who wins as they all wind up in the pen making license plates.
Four Illinois governors have been sent to prison: 3 Democrats and 1 Republican. The Democrats may add to their lead as the incumbent Quinn, who succeeded his impeached running mate Rod Blagojevich, is now under Federal investigation.
Nobody in Illinois is enthusiastic for RINO Rauner. It is simply that Quinn is that bad.
But so did the previous Democrap Guv.
Rauner may win and the GOP may retain the other constitutional offices it holds. Last time, Quinn squeaked through. He lost all downstate counties except for two in far southern Illinois. He even lost in Democratic strongholds such as St. Clair and Madison counties. His winning margin came from suburban Chicago, which Brady neglected during the campaign. The legislature is another story, since the districts are rigged for the Democrats.
You expect that from Democrats.
