Will do
maybe they have it at my favorite place....Amazon.
Well, there you go. The dollar bill has spoken.
I was going to renew my Costco membership. Won’t do it now.
+ for getting BJs and staff in the same post.
Hate to disagree with Dinesh but this is not at all surprising. Liberals do not tolerate opposing views and will do everything they can to suppress them.
A better move is to call the Issaqua headquarters and ask for an explanation. Ask if there had been threats or any other type of intimidation that caused COSTCO to pull the book.
Apples and oranges. The Hobby Lobby case had to do with a tyrannical government forcing them to provide something to their employees that was against their religious beliefs. We needed to show king barack that there is no place in this country for those type actions.
This issue with Costco, however, is just run of the mill leftist bs.
You’re right, it’s still a private business and they can do what they want, but so can we.
Sales of 700 copies in one week spread over 464 stores is going to get any book pulled. That’s barely 1.5 books per U.S. location per week. With those numbers and limited space, I would pull it, too. Don’t read too much into it.
Something else to consider; Costco is closed on:
Easter
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas
Costco also doesn’t have a problem with it’s employees wishing you a Merry Christmas or saying phrases such as “God bless you.”
Costco also pays its employee some of the highest wages in the retail business and provides good health care; at least before Obamacare.
Between the Halal lamb and now this we are going to have to re-think our Costco membership.
Private customers
Private voicing of opinions.
Private boycott
Private protest.
See how it works in a free country? Private business is not immune from the consequences of it's decisions.
It won’t do any good unless you call the Issaqua headquarters and ask them why they pulled the book. It would be interesting to call and tell them that you are a reporter from an on-line publication and would like a statement about why COSTCO pulled the book and whether it is COSTCO policy to censor conservative political thought. Follow up with a question about the IRS targeting of the Teaparty organizations.
Can we assume they’ve pulled Hillary’s book also?

Straw man’s argument. The government was forcing Hobby Lobby to act against their conscience. Where is the government forcing Costco to carry (or not carry) the book?

My copy arrived from Amazon today.
Costco sells plenty of Kosher products, too.
A figurative book burning of a non-correct ideology. Let’s see where did that happen before??
