The Chris McDaniel campaign has identified multiple Mississippi counties in which enough improper ballots have been cast that a legal challenge to the outcome of the election is warranted.

....so if we get a crooked Judge who gives the victory to Cochran, can McDaniel go ahead as a write in?
No. Write-ins are not permitted. And he can’t run as an independent either.
It’s this or nothing for him.
I’m not terribly optimistic though. But I’m a born cynic.
I will either sit out or vote childers. Just depends on how close Cochran is in the polls in Nov. The main goal is to prevent his getting that seat so the governor can give it to Greg Harper, Haley Barbour or Delbert Hoseman in 2 years.
The SOS has a dog in this whole vote fraud hunt as his name has also been bandied about as a Cochran replacement as well.
Not so fast. First there have to be more illegal ballots cast than the margin of victory. We aren't there yet.
-- can McDaniel go ahead as a write in? --
I haven't studied Mississippi election law on that point. My belief (based just on comments read, so take it FWIW) is that we are past the deadline for requesting ballot access; and that any name written in has to be a replacement for a candidate who was put on the ballot, but drops out before the election for some non-political reason (dead, bad health). Mississippi general election ballots are printed with a write-in line, but the only names that count on that line are names given by political parties as replacements for the "dropped out" originals.
Ballot access in Mississippi is easy and cheap.
I’m still trying to figger out how 35k democrats can vote in a republican primary and push the moderate over the top.
Seriously, dems can cross over in a runoff?
Syncro...do you know what the final vote count was and what was the difference between the two candidates? Just wondering if they disallow the illegal votes, if there’ll be enough to change the result.
Chris McDaniel just announced on Hannity they have OVER 1000 ILLEGAL VOTES found so far in ONE COUNTY ALONE!
Now does anyone know how many counties we are talking about in total in this runoff?
All of them clearly, but the focuses will be the Delta, Hinds, Holmes, a couple of place in the northeast, and the coastal areas. Possibly Rankin.
49.2 / 50.8
Oh yeah there is room IMO
Then Tuesday the tsunami of fraud hit...
Margin of victory is close to 6,700.
