RUSH: Okay. So we just learned that back on January 29th the Regime had told everybody to be ready for an influx of up to 65,000 unaccompanied children, who, after crossing the border illegally, would need to be transported to refugee shelters. AP, of all places, a story yesterday.

 

I'm glad to see Rush has just learned of this. Of course if he followed Free Republic as he should, he'd have known of all this last week. In any event, I'm glad he's reporting this.

Rush is right. I heard that loon, Glenn Beck, compare this “humanitarian tragedy” to Katrina this morning before I could change the radio station over to Kilmeade. If what Beck says is true, Obama and his party of death are responsible for the deaths of the thousands who did not make it. Where the hell is the UN? Why haven’t they arrested Obama and many of his ‘RAT comrades for creating this “tragedy”?

If I were the gov of either state I’d charter buses and take these children to D.C. and to the neighborhoods of all of Obie’s top donners and let them out - with sack lunches, water and formula. Only half joking, you couldn’t do that to children under, say, 14 but the older ones - well... it would be tempting.

The Democrats are crowing that it was a Bush administration rule: deportations for all adults and unaccompanied minors from Mexico. So obviously someone at the White House suggested orchestrating a surge of unaccompanied children from Central America. It is not plausible that Central American villagers figured this out on their own.
