Basically opposition to homosexuality, public or private, hard truth or soft spoken, is now the equivalent of racism or pederasty, something that brands you as an untouchable. Politics reflects culture, once pop culture has been cleansed of "homophobia", the politicians will cave, many already have.
I know that decorators tend to be gay, but still you would think a channel about the home and gardening would have atleast a moderately conservative viewership. A failure to boycott and raise a stink will reinforce this trend.

I think the media bias is secondary to how these people swoop down like a flock of harpies on anyone who protests their lifestyle.

I really enjoy the program “House Hunters” but these days the politically correct HGTV features gay couples on a regular basis. Since I record the episodes to watch at a different time, I can simply delete those episodes.
I doubt if writing to the network would make any difference. These are the same people who dumped Paula Deen in spite of a large protest.
