PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Tennessee Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn will consider running for president in 2016 -- if she sees an opportunity to do so, an aide to the 7th District Republican told RealClearPolitics. Blackburn is scheduled to be one of the speakers at a New Hampshire Republican rally this weekend but was not previously known to be mulling a White House bid.
"If there's a door to kick down, she's willing to kick it down," the aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said. "These are the kinds of events you go to -- test the waters, and see what the reaction is."

I like Blackburn also. Maybe Cruz/Blackburn or Paul/Blackburn?
I think most candidates are in it for the perks, power and prestige, even though the prestige isn't what it used to be thanks to Obama.
But I think that some one in their right mind would want to be president if they were absolutely committed to changing the course of this country, of using the bully pulpit and all their Constitutional powers to restore the American values of liberty, limited government and free markets.
Just as some pool players carry their own pool cues with them, liberal women carry around their own ugly stick, so you might assume they are the result of self inflicted wounds.
She hasn’t made a name for herself or stood out in a memorable on the national stage, thusly....

She’s certainly very attractive. If she’s conservative as you say, I would certainly vote for her if I lived in TN.
Well, there's Rosa ...
Worst of all, Hillabeast and Fauxahantas have the morality quotient of a Bitch in heat. Apologies to Bitches everywhere.
I predict the waters will be tepid and the reaction will be "Huh?"
I still think that’s Lurch.
I’m afraid she’ll get about as far as Michele Bachmann did.
That’s a good question! lol..
But it must be God’s way of punishing them? haha. I kid! I kid!
(And at least she's not an Ole Miss grad, like New Hampshire's Senatrix Jeanne Shaheen!)
I fear we are going to have too many candidates again.
Did she vote for or against Paul Ryan’s decrease in veteran’s retirements?
There are two republican Tennessee females with similar names, I think: a black and a Blackburn. At least one of them supported Ryan.
This answers your question.
It’s the other Black that voted for Ryan’s deal.
RE: #47, my God man, it’s lunchtime (or was).
I wouldn’t support that one....black...not Blackburn.
As always Blackburn with have to be: pro-God, pro-life, pro-2d amendment, pro-small government, pro-defend America, pro-growth, pro-spending within our means.
I agree. In times of peace, for example, almost the only constitutionally delegated power that the feds have to regulate intrastate commerce is to deliver the mail, evidenced by Clause 7 of Section 8 of Article I.
Mostly everything else the feds do in a state these days is based on state powers which the corrupt feds have wrongly taken from the states.
I’ll tell you one rising star who may not be of national notoriety by 2016,, But is a rising star!
