Obama Trip to China has Big Price

Jet-setting first lady Michelle Obama has placed a great wall around her junket to China, denying press access while she racks up an $8,350-a-night bill at a swanky high-rise hotel — a move that is already drawing barbs back home.

Her entourage — which includes her daughters and mother — are reportedly enjoying 24-hour butler service, a private steamroom and in-room dining at the Beijing Westin.

“For the most part, Americans get that the president and first lady usually stay in well-appointed accommodations when they travel abroad, but the problem with doing it — especially now — is there are 50 million people on food stamps and we’ve been in a five- to six-year recession, and I think that’s what upsets people more than anything,” said Keith Appell, a Washington, D.C.-based Republican consultant.

Pundits are also questioning why she is not allowing press coverage.

What is it about Michelle Obama that distinguishes her as First Lady of Vacuousness as perfect foil to her "Girly Man Of No Persona" President?

What social redeeming value best describes Michelle as political icon for all that is great and wonderful abut America?

Is it her jingoistic patriotism, love for this country of ours that rubbed off on her from her husband that makes her so special? Is it her cerebral superiority, her profoundly intellectual capacity as product of America's best?

Or perhaps her incredible sartorial splendor, as stylishly fashionable trendsetter, conno-sewer of couture" that has her forever in the cross-hairs of the fashion world as harbinger of next season's 'new kumquat is orange' look?

She has always been an entitled, ungrateful moocher.

She was basically given her path to college for free, and abused that with constantly stirring racial hatred and agitation while an undergraduate at Princeton and at Harvard law school.

Her Princeton "thesis" reads like it was written by a 5th grader, and is nothing more than a selfish, racist rant.

She actually "occupied" the Harvard Dean's office by breaking in and trespassing.

I read that when the Chicago corrupt machine got her an affirmative action job, she was outraged that they even expected her to show up.

When Barry blackmailed and connived his way into the US Senate, she was handed a huge paying crony job in a hospital - that required her do absolutely nothing. It did have the added benefit, however, of giving her a platform (when she decided to show up) to complain about racism and the lack of affirmative action.

While Americans suffer from unemployment, struggle to pay their children's college tuition, groan under the weight of incredible inflation (which the BLS pretends is not there), and Barry's tyrannical surveillance programs, Moochelle and her fat mother go on jaunts to China, terrorizing the butlers and maids, and spending hundreds of millions of dollars.
