1. I refer to the Berita Harian news article dated 11th March 2014 on Search and Rescue Operations in the Straits of Malacca which (in Bahasa Malaysia) referred to me as making the following statements:
The RMAF Chief confirmed that RMAF Butterworth airbase detected the location signal of the airliner as indicating that it turned back from its original heading to the direction of Kota Baru, Kelantan, and was believed to have pass through the airspace of the East Coast of and Northern Peninsular Malaysia.
The last time the plane was detected by the air control tower was in the vicinity of Pulau Perak in the Straits of Malacca at 2.40 in the morning before the signal disappeared without any trace, he said.
2. I wish to state that I did not make any such statements as above, what occurred was that the Berita Harian journalist asked me if such an incident occurred as detailed in their story, however I did not give any answer to the question, instead what I said to the journalist was Please refer to the statement which I have already made on 9 March 2014, during the press conference with the Chief of Defence Force at the Sama-Sama Hotel, Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
3. What I stated during that press conference was,
The RMAF has not ruled out the possibility of an air turn back on a reciprocal heading before the aircraft vanished from the radar and this resulted in the Search and Rescue Operations being widen to the vicinity of the waters of Pulau Pinang.
4. I request this misreporting be amended and corrected to prevent further misinterpretations of what is clearly an inaccurate and incorrect report.
5. Currently the RMAF is examining and analysing all possibilities as regards to the airliners flight paths subsequent to its disappearance. However for the time being, it would not be appropriate for the RMAF to issue any official conclusions as to the aircrafts flight path until a high amount of certainty and verification is achieved. However all ongoing search operations are at the moment being conducted to cover all possible areas where the aircraft could have gone down in order to ensure no possibility is overlooked.
6. In addition, I would like to state to the media that all information and developments will be released via official statements and press conferences as soon as possible and when appropriate. Our current efforts are focused upon on finding the aircraft as soon as possible.
Thank You
GENERAL TAN SRI DATO SRI RODZALI BIN DAUD RMAF Chief of Royal Malaysian Air Force

Hi y’all.
Have you all noticed the sudden wealth of airplane parts that are floating around the Malacca Straits and towards the south? How convenient.
It is embarrassing for Malaysia that this happened, and with so many people on board using stolen passports, too!
For myself, I believe the plane was hijacked with the cooperation of the pilot and copilot - both Muslims - and speculate that the 777 refueled at Banda Aceh (northern Indonesia) before flying low over the Indian Ocean to the Maldives, where it refueled before leaving for...Iran.
There are 170 passengers who will make fine hostages for that mother-f***** in charge at Tehran; 20 Americans and 150 Chinese.
We are not longer feared by Muslim nations.
20 Americans ? Last I heard there were 3 . I’m not keeping up apparently .
Hostages, indeed.
And a plane that has officially disappeared....
which can be repainted, fake ID’ed, loaded with who knows what.... and....
:0
And if it crashed and was on the floor of the Malacca Straits?
If true, the black boxes would be pinging there assess off and easy to locate, as the max depth of the Gulf of Thailand is only 260 feet. That isn’t happening.
This plane disappeared between 1am - 3am early on Saturday morning. It could have taken all Saturday to get to the Maldives Archipelago. Once in the western IO, who would look for it there? Then off to Iran.
Someone on another thread stated that 20 employees of Freescale were on board this flight. Freescale makes electronic defense systems for the US and other nations, perhaps even Israel.
I wonder: would those 20 Americans know how to disarm Freescale’s defense systems? Could the 777 be used as a ‘missle’ against Israel and carry a nuke into that nation?
Maybe I should write novels. With Tom Clancy now passed away, I probably could make some serious moolah.
But I’m serious about this. It just doesn’t sound like a crash is what happened.
Wouldn’t the Triple Seven only need to refuel once in Indonesia before flying directly to Iran? Why stop at Maldives?
Oh, I expect it to have stopped at Banda Aceh before crossing to the Maldives.

You can see a couple of maps at post# 58 which do a super job of showing the flight path. I believe it would have refueled at Banda Aceh, then went on to the Maldives and refueled before heading to Iran. All of them - Malaysia, Indonesia, the Maldives Archipelago - are Muslim dominated nations. All of them want to see Israel destroyed.
