Do the Insane ComDems in CA really think splitting into 6 states will help them keep control of the Senate? Are they that afraid of the consequences of loosing it?

Evidently so.

Surely there is no way this will fly.

But the is California! The land of Fruits & Nuts. But there are a lot of real fine Conservatives entrapped there too.

What if this passes in some of the proposed states, but not all? Would the areas which do vote for this secede from California, with the rest still being part of California???

Do liberals think they will get 10 more senators in Washington? Isn’t it likely that some of these new states would elect Republicans???

Who is behind this, liberals or conservatives?

My misstatement.

It would give them 12 Senators instead of 2.

Not gonna happen. If it did, the libtards would have to coordinate six times as much election corruption as they do now.

Mexifornia is dead anyway.

Just like the GOP.

Actually, this is hilarious!

Even if the ballot initiative passes, it will have zero legal effect.

Article IV of the US Constitution requires any changes to a state’s boundaries to be approved by the State legislature and Congress.

The President, the Governor, and the people (via referendum) have no role in the determination.

A referendum passage would be no more than advisory to the legislature.

None of the other states would agree to this, it is against their interests. They may not want to say it, but they are eager to maintain whatever power they have.

This would put it on the ballot. Thinking a yes vote would force the Legislature to take it up.

Without knowing the political demographics of current California or the proposed new states, I would figure that they would gerrymander the new states in such as manner as to decrease the Republican influence and increase the Democratic influence.

Otherwise, why bother?

Such a carving up would also impact the Electoral College voting in presidential elections.

Does anyone think they would intentionally create Republican strongholds?

Bad news if it happens. Twelve more Democrap Senators elected by illegal aliens.

A more sensible plan, nationally, would probably be to expand the number of House representatives, which I understand is constitutionally permissible. One thing this would do, among others, would be to dilute the clout of the CBC.

California is a cornerstone of Democrat electoral strategy.
California elects Dems like Obama and DiFi by > 20 point margin.
This plan must be approved by California voters to be submitted.

ergo: the chances this happening are about as good as Salma Hayek ditching her billionaire husband and calling me for a date.

This is a plot to get 10 more Democrat Senators. They will flood California with illegal aliens and steal the new seats.
