Chevrolet Showcases Gay Families In Olympics Opening Ceremony Ad
NBC News ^ | 2/8/2014 | Ben Popken

Coming just a week after Coke made waves when it aired the first Super Bowl ad to showcase a set of same-sex parents, the car-maker's new campaign is called "The New Us" and portrays a series of wide-ranging families.

"And while what it means to be a family hasn't changed," intones the Chevrolet narration over clips that include nuclear families, mixed race couples, adoptive parents, gay and lesbian parents, combinations of the above, and others, "what a family looks like, has. This is the new us."

The games have been criticized for taking place in Russia, which has made "gay propaganda" illegal. Earlier this week the deputy prime minister of Russia warned gay Olympic athletes not to touch children.

Chevrolet's new ad was welcomed by the gay community.

and what percentage of those are in monogamous relationships?

And what percentage of THOSE want to actually tie the knot?

I’m thinking those that actually would walk the walk on gay marriage is < .1% of the total population

Yeah, I can do without certain products, too. But the problem is I’m running out of options. Every time I use a computer or make a phone call or fly on a plane it seems I’m supporting some company or other that’s behind the gay agenda.

Yeah, but some can be avoided. No Gay-oogle or Gay-mail for me.

Indeed...I used to own multiple Corvettes and Camaros before that. Now, the Germans have taken their place. It was bad enough with the UAW...Now this. Never going back.

A cohesive and often underground group; many focused on finance and administration, and with a penchant for smears and blackmail.

A bit like the 2012 election cycle actually.

Obastard Motors is only doing what it has to...

GM should have gone through bankruptcy, ditched the UAW and re-established itself as a union free workplace.

I bought my toyota for exactly that reason....non-union made.

Chevrolet takes on a whole new meaning now. My mother 78 years old with Alzheimer’s always stated “Shove it or leave it”. because the cars would always break down.

i will stick with my volkswagen and subaru.

Since Chevy won’t do it, we need to stick that ‘equal’ sticker or a rainbow on Chevys when nobody’s looking.

Alinsky: make them live up to their own standards and ideals.

Is anyone surprised that this came from Government Motors?

When you take the leftist's money (stolen from everyone else), you dance to the leftist's tune.

As if anyone needed further proof, GM made this:

The Chevy HHR, or as we called it, the Homosexual HotRod.

I am astounded at the massive influence they seem to have over big media and business

They ARE big media, and media is driven by advertising. And business is convinced of the power of advertising

For decades, I’ve been the most dogged “buy American” guy that could possibly be. I even left a store and drove twenty miles away to another store to purchase a $1.50 package of ‘made-in-America’ thumbtacks one time!

But with corporate America going full-force into pushing faggotry (not to mention pushing amnesty!), I really, really don’t give a damn anymore. To hell with them!! If I go out of my way nowadays, it’s to just not buy ANYTHING!! Just second-hand items, if possible.

They are not trying yo sell cars and trucks, but instead trying to force acceptance of gays on American families and destroy our family structures.
