Delusions of grandeur.
Too much starch in the ole magic underwear?
Delusions of grandeur.

I am probably ‘fantasizing’ but on the occasion I may listen to the ‘Rush wannabees’ if a TV show or Political Panel mentions ‘Talk radio being disruptive’ - or such - those whose name may not be mentioned fall all over themselves, looking for ‘recognition’.
Much like the Sopranos when the ‘papers named names for the Federal Indictments, Christopher was driving himself into a frenzy because his name was NOT in the paper’.
The 3 ‘do funnys’ were talking about fame and one said:
“I want to be a ballet dancer and receive world wide acclaim for my talents”.
Another
“I want to be a writer and write about my experiences in life, have a best seller and be applauded”
The Third
“I want to be a pitcher for the Mets or Yanks. I will get the ball, walk around the mound, get the resin bag, walk some more and some Wise Guy New Yorker will yell out:
JUST THROW THE BALL C-S....er.
RECOGNITION, ALL I AM AFTER IS RECOGNITION”.
Very much so, I believe. I've heard him refer to his fans as his "followers." Also, Beck is often unable to deal with disagreement from callers without taking it personally. When I used to listen to him, he would get snarky and bitchy. And then of course, there was that not-so-shining moment when he started shrieking "Get off my phone" in a high, womanish voice.
I sincerely do not think he is stable.
