Meryl Streep had some choice words to say about Walt Disney during remarks she made Tuesday at an awards gala where she was honoring "Saving Mr. Banks" star Emma Thompson.

The "August: Osage County" star called out Disney as both sexist and anti-Semitic while presenting the best actress prize to Thompson at the National Board of Review awards in New York.

Opinions on Snopes "Was Disney anti-semitic?" came up largely negative. The issue was whether or not the black children were interpreted as slaves in a post-Civil War movie, "Song of the South." Screep probably disliked Disney because Disney supported Goldwater and disliked Communists. I don't think producers like Samuel Goldwyn (born Szmuel Gelbfisz (Yiddish: שמואל גלבפֿיש) were very anti-semetic. But he sure fired a lot of Jewish executive managers. (see Wikipedia). I have enjoyed his many Goldwynisms: "Include me out" Apparently Goldwyn could create these with ease and quantity. Goldwyn competed with Yogi Berra who is credited with: "90% of the game is half mental" and many others.

I saw the trailer as well and I have to laugh because the promo was calling it a “Wicked funny comedy” it looks really stupid and not so funny. I don’t go to the movies either most of it is trash and I am not giving one thin dime to the people who would mock me an things I believe in.
