Lt. Col. Gerald F. "Jerry" Coleman, USMC World War II Korea VMFA-323 Died 5 January 2014
In addition to serving with the Marines in both World War II and the Korean War, Jerry Coleman played second base for the New York Yankees. He was on the 1950 American League All-Star team and was voted MVP in the 1950 World Series.
