I would just say in response that in the case of homosexual behavior a real introduction to God and sincere repentence can indeed erase that sin from one’s soul.

Unfortunately for the despoilers of children there is only the millstone. Pedophiles are in a class by themselves.

If we say that pedophiles are in a class by themselves, that means we are making folk religion our religion, because that isn't supported by the Bible.

The Bible teaches that anyone can repent and receive Christ as Saviour. I will agree with you that it is increasingly difficult for a pedo because at that point of depravity, the person has repeatedly rejected calls for salvation.

Our minds don't understand it sometimes, but that is the power of the Gospel. It can clean the worst among us. For us to say differently, we construct a different Gospel (folk religion) by making sin bigger, and then we make Jesus smaller.

I personally know pedophiles that have accepted Christ, and walk victoriously: and then they turn around and help others to Christ. Make no mistake: JESUS IS THAT POWERFUL.

If you were to start a thread asking Freepers if they personally know a pedo that turned after receiving Jesus, I think you'd be surprised: because the pedos have families too.
