Thanks, though I did not read that article what it states is quite true.

The island has indeed over the last few weeks ramped up again...we have seen this ramp up before though only for week returns....however though this quake is some 30k away from the main concentration you have to think it’s volcanically connected to it.

That’s one of the last remaining pieces left of the Great Empire of Atlan. Aka Atlantis.
Pre-Deluvial civilization.
All Domestic Food we eat came from there.
All Domestic Animals came from there.
All World maps came from there.
Pretty much all other rules of society and knowledge came from there. Except for maybe high technology and ObeyCare.

New Eruption May Be Brewing at El Hierro Volcano
By Becky Oskin, Staff Writer | December 27, 2013 02:08pm ET

wo years after a new underwater volcano appeared offshore of El Hierro in the Canary Islands, earthquake swarms and a sudden change in height suggest a new eruption is brewing near the island’s villages, officials announced today (Dec. 27).

After the announcement, one of the largest temblors ever recorded at the volcanic island, a magnitude-5.1 earthquake, struck offshore of El Hierro at 12:46 p.m. ET (5:46 p.m. local time) today, the National Geographic Institute reported. Residents on the island reported strong shaking, and the quake was felt throughout the Canary Islands, according to news reports. The earthquake’s epicenter was 9 miles (15 kilometers) deep.

Before the earthquake struck early this afternoon, the island’s volcano monitoring agency, Pelvolca, had raised the volcanic eruption risk for El Hierro to “yellow.” This warning means that activity is increasing at the volcano, but no eruption is imminent. A similar burst of activity prompted a yellow warning in June 2012, but the volcano soon quieted down.

That was I. The uplift on the Eastern end of this island is above 7cm. Wonder what’s gurgling underneath. They don’t believe this was a “TECTONIC” quake.

Which side faces the US, the right or left? The left, I think. So the wall above Frontera is the one that would “slide” down into the ocean?

La Palma was the most mentioned doom scenario. That’s one of the Eastern Canaries. The one with the crack in it that runs a good length of the island.

So, think this is just “island building” like the new Island off Japan?

The right circumstances quake on the other side, plus an epic amount of rain, might crack La Palma, but it doesn’t feel like El Hierro will blow. But what do I know? Just feelings.
