Christmas Eve with relatives ( the dad is a D. so hopefully no politics talk)....then home to start brining the turkey. Christmas morning - breakfast - Tennessee sausage & biscuits and homemade orange rolls. Gift opening - then relaxing - puzzles & games - then our big Christmas dinner. We are smoking a turkey for the first time - so fingers crossed we don’t end up having to eat peanut butter sandwiches - LOL! Merry Christmas to everyone!!! God bless us every one!!

Go to the mall, watch the crazies all stressed out.... enjoy the “energy in the crowd”, and buy my wife a Christmas present. (its a Christmas eve tradition). Then tomorrow night we’ll go to our daughter and son-in-law’s, and see our grandson’s first Christmas. Christmas day with my mother and brothers families. And watch football...

Wife’s Birthday is Christmas Eve. We celebrate that in the afternoon. We went to Midnight Mass when I was a kid which was preceded by gift opening. We open gifts with children and grandchildren on Christmas eve. My daughter’s in-laws used to have them on Christmas day but decided to hold theirs the Saturday before, so we will be eating Christmas Dinner with them. Life is good. Our family is non-dysfunctional with no liberals.

Sad part is, my family knows little of my politics. They know one thing, I don't fall in lock step and vote democRAT. That is all they needed to know to ostracize me and label me a racist, homophobic warmonger who has been brainwashed by Fox News. Yes, they really are that stupid. So stupid I am ashamed to admit they are related.

My wife and I separated in October, so this is first Christmas alone since forever. Boys are grown and moved away, so looks like it is me and the two dogs celebrating this year.

Did no decorating this year so can’t even take the decorations down on Christmas Day like I’ve done since the boys outgrew Santa. Hey, plenty of free help available at that moment and one had to take advantage of it!

Thank the Good Lord and my Savior for another day and be thankful that I know the difference between CHRISTmas and commercialized Christmas.

Merry Christmas one and all! God Bless!

Smoked Ham in a bag on low, Crown Royal, neat while finishing landscaping. Diesel Torpedo, and Crown on the porch, while In-laws entertain themselves...

Have a Merry Christmas, All!

Flew to nova Scotia to spend three weeks with wife and kids. She is still in military, and I work in Alberta. She is releasing but will probably take six months. So I’ll hang out here with her and inlaws and spend as much time with the three little kids as I can. Other than that, I plan on working on my winter weight.

God bless you all and have a very merry Christmas.

Just my wife and me and our pups, Semper and Fi. A nice quiet day, an afternoon dinner of Turkey & dressing, Mac and cheese and the typical yams and a green bean casserole. Naps. No leaving the house except to to check on the pups when they are outside.

Tomorrow I will be visiting wacky liberal relatives that I have no effing desire to visit, only going this year because I love my mom and grandparents, next year I will be at my girlfriend’s parent’s Christmas Eve party. Christmas day will be fun, I will be by my gf’s house and get to see the look on her face when she opens her present, a diamond necklace, next year she should be engaged to be Mrs. Erod. :)

An example of the level of stupidity we're dealing with here.

One thinks Ted Kennedy was the greatest man to ever serve in the US Senate. One thinks Obama has been an outstanding president whose likeness should be added to Mt. Rushmore. And one thinks Bill Clinton never lied. They all agree that Bush destroyed the country by going to war in Iraq for oil. But where they don't agree is some believe Michelle Obama should be the next president and first female POTUS while some believe that only Hillary Clinton deserves that honor. These are definitely some of the stupidest people on the planet. And we're related! :-P
