told this before as there was a Houston NBC local affiliate back in the day who, as a how not to piece, was tellin their audience how not to deep fry turkey.....don’t do this, do not ever do that stuff.....too many homes and property has burned
To example safety...the deep fryer was in the middle of the backyard.
walking to the boilin peanut oil for fryin, the hosts plop, dropped the ole turkey
at lightning speed that turkey shot out that fryer on fire and landed square on said house’s roof, burnin.
keep in mind this was live tv, local Houston NBC affiliate
then there was .......and we’ll be right back
...when they did finally go live , 1/2 the house only was standin and fireman were beatin feet

Same thing happens at our house. Except I’m the one who wants to deep fry the turkey.

The meat should be nice and moist too.
It’s good. My BIL can cook one to perfection. He injects them with flavorings, and it doesn’t take very long to cook either.
