WHY DID “UNNAMED SOURCE” FALSELY ACCUSE SENATE LEADER OF ATTACK ON TEA PARTY, CRUZ AND LEE?
Tea Party News Network ^ | 11.22.13 | Todd Cefaratti, Editor of TPNN

As vulnerable Democrats, realizing the inevitable, abandon the Obamacare ship to avoid being pulled under with it, Democrats are hoping that the Republican Party will similarly implode. President Obama, in conjunction with leading Democrats, has worked tirelessly to drive a wedge in the Republican Party by trying to pit moderate Republicans against conservatives.

While the Republican Party can certainly benefit from stronger adherence to principles of limited government, the call for a split of the Republican Party (and their power) is most prominent amongst Democrats who recognize that a divided party is a weaker opponent.

Recently, Breitbart News reported that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell had railed against Tea Party and conservative legislators in a conference call to donors. Breitbart reported that, according to an anonymous source, Sen. McConnell had ranted against the Tea Party and named Tea Party Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee by name.

The anonymous source also claimed that the principled Senate conservatives were “schoolyard bullies” that needed a “punch in the nose.”

What a “win” for Democrats!… That is, if it were true.

It seems that the anonymous source had an agenda of his own or otherwise misunderstood the Senator’s comments as The Washington Examiner obtained a recording of the entire conversation, provided by American Crossroads PAC. In the 27-minute long recording, McConnell spoke to donors and their advisers and offered a brief question-and-answer segment.

During this call, Senator McConnell addressed the Senate Conservative Fund (SCF), a PAC that has been routinely attacking McConnell as he handles crises in the Senate that maintains a Democrat majority.

The SCF have been relentless in their criticisms and Senator McConnell has appeared frustrated as he has had to weather the assaults from Democrats and those in his own party who seem displeased with the Republican leadership...

Not all orgs with a label Tea Party are to be trusted.

The fact is that RINOs have to be removed asap.

RINOs will do anything, say anything when they are up for reelection. They always start sounding conservative and will even associate with the Tea Party if they think it will get the votes; they have no principles other than to get reelected.

WHAT’S called “Divide and Conquer”, in relation to this article or anything I’ve posted? Who has done the dividing? The usual suspects (Dems, press, etc.)? If that’s your meaning, I understand and agree, I guess.

(I thought “Divide and Concur” was pretty neat and will seek a way to use it one day).

Anytime you can take down a RINO in a primary you do it.

WHAT is it that looks and sounds like a duck to you?

If we, on the right, cannot install a “Tea Party” endorsed candidate in the US Senate, in the state of Kentucky, then the nation is lost. Delaware is not Kentucky.

That would be very nice. Does anybody have his latest poll numbers?

I read somewhere the quotes of what McConnell said that are supposed to be in defense of him. They don't defend him at all; if anything they make him look more stupid, heavy-handed and anti-conservative.

Why isn't there some kind of retaliation in the US Senate about the vote about filibusters? Just sayin'....

According to The Washington Examiner debunks the alleged Tea Party smear, the “schoolyard bullies” comment was not about the Tea Party or conservatives as a whole, but the SCF that have been attacking the Kentucky Senator.

So McCOnnell didn't attack the Tea Party, but attacked the conservative group that is trying to elect Tea Party-friendly candidates including one that is running to replace McConnell.

As Mr. Spock said, "A difference that makes no difference is no difference."

Suggest no one typecast Kentuckians. For most if not all of that unpleasantness of the 1860's, Kentucky took no side. Maybe the GOP there is mostly Tea Party and maybe they isn't. Most Kentuckians, I have found, are a good deal smarter than what's-her-name-the-slutty-actress.

O'Donnell could have won but Rove, Castle, the RNC, and company refused to support her.

Bingo! O'Donnell's strongest and most damaging opposition came from the national GOP and its henchmen who talked her down at every opportunity; their deliberate sabotage ensured that she never stood a chance. Eventually, it has to dawn on Conservatives that many Republican politicians are not actually opposed to a socialist welfare state -- they just want to run it.

As for what Mitch McConnell did or didn't say in that conference call, why can't the Majority Leader clear the air himself by speaking directly to those offended by his remarks and by his leadership methods? I suspect that's because he truly does despise us and hold us in contempt. The ball is in his court...

The following reveals that TPNN is populated by double agents:

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/03/25/Tea-Party-News-Network-Writer-Displays-Ignorance-In-Falsely-Slamming-Palin

This is not a child’s game. Ann Coulter gave the clarion call after Boehner caved on the debt ceiling and defunding. She and Cruz revealed that the Boehner and McConnell control the money and control which members and which candidates get funded for campaigns. In other words, most members of Congress are bought off entirely and the RINOs control most of the republicans.

RINOs have led this country to the brink of ruination in lock-step with the democrats. RINOs are not republicans, they are at worst democrats with an ‘R’ beside their name; democrat infiltrators to the republican party.

Anytime a RINO is taken down in a primary it is a huge victory, EVEN IF that candidate loses in the general election. Most of the time they do win, but sometimes they do lose. For some reason ONLY the Tea Party is judged a failure if results aren't 100% wins all the time.

Your line of thinking needs to be shouted down whenever possible. Anyone defending the establishment in any way is my political enemy.

Can someone, anyone give an informed answer to the question I asked (which is still unanswered) in post 25?

“Is the Tea Party News Network a shill, a front for the Republican Party?”

This thread is useless; I regret starting it and responding to any posts.

WHAT about my line of thinking needs to be shouted down and by whom?

WHAT have I posted that needs shouting down and by whom?

Because I post an article and ask a question about it does not mean I endorse every idea an author expresses.

Rude you are, central_va, and ill-informed apparently about my line of thinking.

Look for the polling data before the election... mcconnell has the money to buy any poll he wishes to. mcconnell is toast. There is not one thing about that chinless lifetime parasite that is redeeming or likable and the truth about his corrupt bribe taking is now part of the Federal record.

Latest poll on the front page of the Huffington Post, in Politico, The Hill, Roll Call, and on CNN, showed McConnell’s personal favorability ratings were underwater, with only 42% giving him a rating of favorable, while 52% gave him an unfavorable rating, with twice as much intensity on the negative side.
