I’ve still got McAuliffe slated to gain about 50,000 from the outstanding precincts in the blue counties with not nearly as many for Cuccinelli to gain in the red counties. Unfortunately the red counties are either small or have 100% of the precincts in or both. This is looking more and more like a narrow McAuliffe victory. Don’t shoot the messenger.

I agree; there are too many precincts outstanding from Fairfax, Norfolk, Portsmouth against some very good, but not enough o/s from places like Frederick. Interesting that Henrico (Richmond suburb) went fairly big for McA; it is the home county of House Rep. Maj. Leader Eric Cantor. Note that one of his big-time political advisers (supposedly a Republican) endorsed McA. But, this was MUCH closer than expected (the Republican “insiders” were talking about a “blow out” and a massive loss of Assembly seats yesterday at NR; any Red State Dem up for election next year cannot help but see what Obamacare did “for” the Dems in the last days; and, if Obenshain can pull it out we will have an AG keeping an eye on this bunch in Richmond.
