So I just looked over out my husband medicare advantage plan from bcbs. They have a comparison of 2013 to 2014. You should see the coverage changes and most are going to cost more out of pocket for our seniors. For instance out of pocket maximums are in 2013; 5900.00 and in 2014 to be 6700.00. Deductible for drug coverage went from 0 to 30.00. Deductible from 750 to 950. Emergency care 65.00 to 125.00 for 2014. Hearing services will not be covered at all, use to be 0 co pay with 500 per ear device every 3 years...just to name a few.
