Few kids would grow into actual deviance because of this. It takes a lot to subvert the sexual identity and heterosexual instinct of a physically healthy child. However, we see homosexual “chique” happening in American schools where post-puberty kids take on roles they don’t fully understand, mostly, I am told, for public consumption: to be popular, or interesting, or to rid of unwanted heterosexual advances.
What this idiocy will do to every child is to make them vulnerable, so that in a time of crisis (of romantic, economic or mental health nature) they seek solace in an actual deviant behavior.
Moreover, it is not merely sexual preference that makes a man out of a boy. Men must be taught leadership, courage, risk-taking, marital arts. Women must be taught social grace, domesticity, kindness, or else they are not much women anymore. It is in that sphere of everyday outwardly normal family life that most damage will be done to the French nation, once a symbol of healthy heterosexuality, intelligence and courage.
I am not sure about France, but part of the leftwing project in this country was to feminize the military as much as possible.
France is certainly more conservative then the US now. Recently 100s of thousands of French demonstrated against gay marriage. You’d never see that here. Also there is a 12 week limit on abortion....
I think America, more than other countries, still thinks that the American people is in charge of its country, hence the docility.
It's a centralized system. If you don't like what the government is doing, you can stage a massive protest, and the government does it anyway, and you're finished. In the US, there's still a chance you can block something at the state level, so national protests will be fewer, but some states may manage to hold out against the changes the federal government wants.
