Kansas Suspends Phill Kline’s License for Investigating Planned Parenthood
Life News ^ | Cheryl Sullenger

Posted on 10/18/2013 10:12:23 AM PDT by Morgana

In a detailed 154-page decision, the Kansas Supreme Court has indefinitely suspended the law license of former state Attorney General Phill Kline for 11 ethics violations related to his investigation of abortion clinic from 2003-2008.

“The Sebelius-Era vendetta against Kline for daring to uphold Kansas abortion and child sex abuse laws has finally extracted its pound of flesh,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “Contrary to the Court’s ruling, we know Kline to be a selfless man who has dedicated his life in the pursuit of justice. Sometimes, that honesty and integrity comes at a price, and Kline has certainly paid a heavy penalty for standing up to a corrupt administration that went to great lengths to insulate Kansas abortionists from being brought to justice.”

The Court noted that it considered Kline’s motivations were “selfish” and upbraided him for failing to admit guilt.

“The violations we have found are significant and numerous, and Kline’s inability or refusal to acknowledge or address their significance is particularly troubling in light of his service as the chief prosecuting attorney for this State and its most populous county,” the Court stated.

“If a man believes himself to be innocent and has evidence he believes proves his innocence, as was the case with Kline, it seems shocking that the Court would attack him simply for maintaining his rights to a defense,” said Newman. “This case has always been about teaching a lesson to Kline and other prosecutors who might entertain the possibility of trying to enforce the law against abortion providers. It is meant to have a chilling effect on law enforcement everywhere. Now we can expect that women will be further endangered by criminal abortionists while intimidated prosecutors look the other way in order to protect their own political careers. This is disgraceful and the Supreme Court and Disciplinary Administrator who prosecuted Kline should be ashamed today.”

Kline investigated abortion clinics operated by George Tiller in Wichita and Planned Parenthood in Overland Park. He was obstructed in his investigations by pro-abortion elements inside the state government, many of which were appointed by former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who is a radical supporter of unrestricted abortion for any reason throughout all nine months of pregnancy. Sebelius is currently U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Obama administration.

Kline eventually filed 30 criminal charges against Tiller and 107 criminal charges against Planned Parenthood. Both cases were dropped by political enemies of Kline’s.

The Supreme Court was stacked with appointees of Sebelius and former Gov. Mark Parkinson, who was hand-picked by Sebelius as her successor. In fact, the Court was so infused with bias against Kline that five justices — under pressure — recused themselves from hearing Kline’s ethics case. During Kline’s oral arguments in this case, law clerk Sarah Peterson Herr viciously attacked Kline on Twitter in a public show of unprofessional conduct that revealed widespread bias throughout the Supreme Court building. Operation Rescue Staff reported Herr to her superiors and she was fired over the incident. Herr now faces further disciplinary action.

“We pray that Phill Kline and his family will seek comfort in their strong Christian faith during this time of political persecution as well as support among his many loyal friends and family members,” said Newman. “We stand behind Phill and against the shameful, corrupt abortion politics that have crushed his career for the purpose of ensuring that the innocent blood of babies will continue to spill in Kansas.”

How did Kansas let this get so out of control?

Kathleen Sebelius packed the court with abortion advocates when she was governor. She did the same thing with the bar association - they are all in the pocket of the abortion industry and have done everything that they can do to destroy Kline.

Sibileus is so untalented. Her entire political career was built on contributions from Tiller and his abortionist PAC. Kline was a big threat to that income stream. Thus the total losers on the Supreme Court.

Kansas is a red state right? When it became clear that she had a sick affinity for a child butcher how was she reelected?

Sibileus is a ghoul. Her very face appearing at the door would terrify trick-or-treaters.

Because the Church didn’t vote. If Christians would only show up and vote for God fearing candidates, America would be free today instead of cowering in fear.

CAN WE PLEASE STOP USING THE LIBERAL TERMS “RED” AND “BLUE” FOR CONSERVATIVE/LIBERAL?

It was in Al Gore’s election that they switched- GOP used to always be BLUE. The commie’s were always RED.

Lets stop using their terms. I do not like referring to Conservative states as ‘red states’

The term ‘purple’ (for mixed) is still OK, feel free to continue to use that.

Kline has done nothing wrong. Sebelius is for baby killing. Life begins at conception. Abortion is never ok. It is killing a human being.

No...I’m not sure what was going on with Sebilous somehow being reelected down there. Now were smarter. In Texas they’re using “Rules for radicals” to mock and isolate “Abortion Barbie” aka Wendy Davis. That should of been done to Sebelious.

I never liked it either. They’re the reds they should be proud of it. Too late now though. Eric Erickson would have to change the name of his blog.

Anyone interested in why the Kansas Supreme Court suspended Kline can read their decision here. (Short version: 10 instances of lying to the Kansas Supreme Court, the lower courts and the grand jury; one count of going on TV to release confidential information about a pending criminal case.)

I always sense evil around Sebellius, for a long time.

Not in Kansas, I haven’t seen her up close and personal, but she exudes almost a demonic presence about her.

That a woman could be so cold-blooded is not normal, but she, and the higher echelon liberal feminists of her ilk, seem almost possessed.

Christine LaGarde of the IMF is another one.

Kansans are the heart of America. If the heart is dark, what does that mean for the rest of our country?

If Kline violated the law, he should be accept the consequences. However, the difference between a pro-life vs. pro-abortion prosecutor who violates the law (say by charging Operation Rescue supporters in violation of their First Amendment rights) is that the liberal courts look the other way at those prosecutorial offenses.

I agree. How we let this happened, I don't know (I remember seeing this happen in the early 90's); but we should put a stop to us being labeled red by Liberals.
