LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) - Police near Atlanta are investigating an attack on a group of women as they protested on an interstate overpass and carried signs calling for President Barack Obama's impeachment.
The women told police they were demonstrating on the Steve Reynolds Boulevard overpass in Gwinnett County on Saturday, when a man pulled up beside them. They said he pointed a gun at one of them and splashed another with an unknown liquid.

Brandishing a gun at anti-Obama protestors is likely to lead to a gunbattle, would be my take on things. This isn’t NY. There are a LOT of concealed carry licenses out there. Based on some quick calculations using numbers from GACarry.org and Wikipedia, 5.6% of adults in GA have a concealed carry license.

Yes, and it’s happening here. All of these “spontaneous random” acts of thuggery are instigated amongst one group. They attack with impunity, in broad daylight and in public. They’re rarely caught or prosecuted, and when they are, the consequences are inconsequential. They’re given no publicity and no pattern is pointed out, as it would be if a rash of white “teens” were perpetrating this upon random minorities. They know they’re protected, or they wouldn’t have the gall to post videos of their own crimes for the world to see. One “teen”, after a beating a man into unconsciousness, went back into the convenience store where it happened, shouted statements of victory and pumped his fist, and went back outside for a few final kicks to the victim’s head.

The lusty, busty Mrs. B.S. Roberts told me once this was one reason she married me. I don't suffer fools easily and will respond to real threats to my family with maximum prejudice.
Personally, I have the pepper spray and the paper necessary to carry it. My wasp spray suggestion was for those who don't and would need something simpler in case they were 'in fear for their life'.
Plus, if their husbands had a single hair on their collective arses, they'd be accompanying their wives to the bridge next time, obviating the need for any chemical response. A short piece of 1/2" conduit "found on the side of the road" would suffice.

They came to power because those thugs were the “law & order” that was lacking in Weimar Germany; the country was faced with a communist uprising, and chose the socialists instead. The Nazis rise to power has to be seen through the prism of the rise of communism in western Europe through the 1920s and 30s; when people felt the very right to private property was about to be outlawed, they were quite willing to support anyone who would oppose the communists. The communists themselves represented the most useless, unproductive, and envious citizens, which is why they lost in Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
