To someone who is unclear or unsure as to the Bible’s relevance, your statement has absolutely no value whatsoever.

It’s a point of discussion, which is entirely appropriate.

From where I sit, the idiocy is in avoiding the relevance conversation by simply positing as true that which is being questioned.

It is hard even for an atheist to deny that the Bible is relevant to understanding the world around them. In order to understand history, culture, traditions, literature,government and legal systems it is foolish to deny the relevance of the Bible.
