Al-Turki’s case has been followed closely by the Saudi Royals who want a pardon or transfer for al-Turki .
Colorado Attorney General John Suthers was forced by the feds to go to Saudi Arabia in 2006 and explain to King Abdullah and others the al-Turki’s case.
Speaking of which - what became of the Saudi “Person of Interest” in the Boston bombings? Back in SA I assume? Dropped off the face of the earth possibly?
Locally, the story is that the man who shot Clements was paying off a prison debt, and the payoff required him to kill Clements.
The shooter was killed following a car chase south of Colorado Springs, about 40 miles from the shooting.
