We will be giving them an advanced look at any electronic devices we use. They will analyze those devices and figure out ways to jam them. This is one of the many reasons that any attack should have been anouced AFTER it was over.

BTW, any attack or actions on the part of the US in Syria are a BAD idea. Who would have thought I’d agree with Putin on anything?

9 is a lucky number to Chinese. 999 even moreso. They appear to be sending dual-purpose craft capable of assisting civilian evacuations...you know...if our bombing of Syria’s chemical weapons releases (gasp!) lethal clouds of chemical vapors...as well as vessels able to monitor SIGINT.

“The authors openly admit that the ships would not be in any way involved in a potential conflict, but only observe the actions of NATO and Russian ships. “

Is the author the CO also? How does he know this? Silliness to believe such a thing because the author can’t make that call. The Chinese military can decide to act if they chose to - should that time come. And I do not think they owe their strategy to the newspaper.

That ship is mighty vunerable without a task force with it...

Could it be the Chinese are adding what they can to Putin’s “Red Line”?
