WASHINGTON (AP) -- Supporters of far-reaching immigration legislation fear they're losing the message war and say an all-out campaign is needed from business groups and other outside advocates with ties to House Republicans to turn it around.
With House action now on hold until September at earliest, immigration bill backers see Congress' monthlong August recess as crucial to their cause. They're making plans to try to ensure that supporters of an immigration overhaul are heard as loudly as opponents when lawmakers return to their districts for town hall meetings and other events.
"Here's the fact: We're not winning, so we've got to wage a campaign," Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Thursday. "There are many members of the House that don't want to take up any bill at all, as you know. What our job is, we want to convince them to at least pass legislation, so that we can go to conference and work together."

It’s too bad there are no patriotic plutocrats waging an ad campaign that talks about the impact of amnesty on the wages of working class Americans. They’d rather sponsor a wing of some wealthy private university to get their names on the buildings than help their fellow Americans keep their heads above water. Stuff like this is why the Reagan Democrats have largely deserted the GOP.

its not illegal aliens or AMNESTY
its doing it the right way..
What IMMIGRATION IS
1. the foreign born person in their own foreign nation goes to the local American Consulate and asks permission of America to enter to stay and live here permanently.
2. They receive a list of instructions from the American Consulate including forms to fill in and sign ...
3. They fill in the application forms and sign them among the papers are forms promising to not apply for welfare, etc or to work until they receive their green card and that felonies committed while in the United States will be cause for deportation
4. they submit all required proof of ID etc
5. They get shots, xrays, medical exams, etc pay fees and prove they can support themselves until they receive the green card
6. America does background checks criminal backgreound checks, confirm submitted records
7. The person waits until told to come back to Embassy, consulate etc.
8. when all of the requirements are furfilled and if there is a quota vacancy, the person is instructed to come back
9 at this last visit the person is required to agree to the requirements and to swear that all of the information given is correct to the best of their knowledge with the warning that any incorrect items could be cause for deportation.
10 with an excited but trembling heart they swear so...
11. Documents are given to the person with instructions that the time limit to use them is one year.
12. The person goes back to work and gives 2 weeks notice
13 after work the person goes immediately to the airport and gets a ticket for the United States showing the documents as proof they can purchase a ticket to enter the Emerald City.
14 After work on that final day with only 66 pounds of their extensive worldly goods the person flies off to the United States of America
15 The person receives their Alien Registration Card AKA as Green Card in the mail at their new address in the United States and goes looking for a job.
and anything else is unfair to that person who did it the right way..

They passed Obamacare against our wishes. The allowed fast & Furious to go unpunished against our wishes they want to pass Immigration amnesty against our wishes, they close Power plants and put coal workers out of work against our wishes. Against our wishes they refuse to build a pipeline.
Now against our wishes they have launched an attack against an American found not guilty in a trial that was set up to hang him. America is not listening to it’s citizens.
We are no longer a free country, we are now being ruled by government.

Roger Hedgecock said on his show tonight that Obama has been sending people into the prisons to ask convicted illegal aliens who are in there for crimes committed here if they are eligible for the DREAM Act regardless of their age etc..
If the answer is “Si” without any documentation or proof the illegal alien is believed and then released from prison under Obamas DREAM Act treason..
those criminal illegal aliens are just let go into neighborhoods around the country...
The longer we stall it, the more likely nothing will pass. And with the drop in the birth rate down south, it’s very likely we’ll see illegal immigration slow down.
I’m mostly worried about giving these people the right to vote, because it WILL lead to a one party system...whether or not they stay is the least of our concerns.
