I agree that it would be a worst case scenario. If I were a juror, I’d vote for acquittal based on what was presented so far. There could be five others voting the other way to “give the community a sense of justice”.

IF a hung jury is a result — small chance, IMO — I think your numbers will be exactly reversed. There will be five jurors that are able to deal rationally with the testimony, and one stubborn “social justice” holdout.
