It really bothers me that Bernie and Co. MUST know that Zimmerman is innocent, and yet they continue to try to put him away for life. What kind of monster can live with himself doing that.
I think Shaeffer wants Zimmerman on the stand because it would be good for ratings, not because it has anything to do with legal procedure, good legal tactics, political leaning, or anything else.
I’m sure his bosses sat him down and suggested he push the need for GZ to take the stand as much as he could. You’ll have tons of people watching if it happens...
