The Guardian is a Lefty rag. They are doing this at Ubama's behest.

Benghazi is where the treason lies, and it must be buried.

I’d say he and his whistleblower / leaker had better be sleeping with one eye open. Obama’s goons are going to start playing for keeps pretty soon.

This is the guy Dennis Praeger refered to in his Friday 6/7/13 broadcast. Praeger maintains the purpose of his revelations is to shut down the monitoring program.

“[S]hould we be expecting more revelations from you?” asked Stephanopoulos.

“You should,” Greenwald answered shortly.

No way we can know if this is true. Greenwald must keep his story, his brand, alive...even if he is just faking it in the meantime.

Folks, can I make a point here?

THESE DAYS, WHAT MOSLEM TERRORIST USES HIS “HOME PHONE” OR HIS “PERSONAL VERIZON CELLPHONE ACCOUNT” TO PLOT TERRORIST ACTS OR COMMUNICATE WITH HIS FELLOW TERROR-CELL MEMBERS?

At least 10 years ago, even morons started using disposable “drop phones” purchased for cash at any bodega in the world.

By contract, who DOES use their home phones and personal cell phones?

Patriots. Christians. Jews. Random citizens. Tea Party folks.

The Obama/Marxist definition of “terrorist surveillance” is SPYING ON, AND PUNISHING AMERICAN CITIZENS.

Hence the IRS persecution of Christian/Jews/TEA.

Hence the domestic spying by NSA.

Remember, Russia warned FBI about the Boston Marathon bomber(s) TWICE, but they didn’t give a crap.

The goal here is complete control — blackmailing judges and rival politicians.

Hoping that the whistle-blower has made a great deal with Greenwall and the UK Guardian for some kind of protection since he came forward. I would not want to work for the NSA to spy and abuse any authority to take a American citizen(s) email and go into full discovery of their content and the content of their phone calls. Looks like a lot of those NSA employees are getting paid quite well to spy as they violate the Bill of Rights. personally, I don't like this. It's government going after any and all power of the citizenry. Looks like a spy novel though we are all in it. I hope this guy will be alright. He is very brave. Too bad, more of these whistle-blowers do not come forward. He explained how our government can/does search content on anyone form our emails/calls and also can make files on people to have a uncharacteristic history with just one small bit of info. Very dangerous. He's very brave. I would be sick working there knowing that I was abusing citizens’ privacy rights and protections.

I have this nagging question that I want to put forward to those with like thinking minds:

We all know about word recognition software like Dragon. Many people use it to type their comments on the Free Republic by just talking into a microphone. There is software available to take the spoken word in one language and translate it to English.

So, lets say that all the phone conversations either by cell phone or land line were recorded and put into a voice recognition software and then stored as text. You could put a great deal of conversation on storage if it was in text. And, the storage capability is growing exponentially. Once in text form, you would also have the ability to do text searches using key words and other intelligent word searches using sophisticated software.

I believe it is true that the government does not actively listen to conversations. The huge number of phone conversations daily would make the storage of them impossible. I believe that it first converts conversations to text. Then, it searches conversations using computer technology. This is not active listening because it is in text form and may avoid the legal definition of wire tapping. I am no lawyer to know if it is wire tapping for sure. However, once conversation is identified as having possible illegal activity, the court process is used to bring up all the text material from the source telephone.

Am I correct in this idea?

Uh-oh!

Will Noah Vosen put the asset in the nest? Will Jason Bourne try to meet Mr. Greenwald at Waterloo Station to save him? Was Blackbriar really an NSA program to spy on Americans and not some trained assassin program? And what did Nicky mean when she said it was hard for her, with him?
