Good catch, there-adopting vs. intentional voting.
Even though not one Republican voted for this travesty, once the liberal propaganda machine gets rolling, the public is going to be absolutely convinced that the ACA was the brainchild of GWB and forced down our throats by right wing extremists.
While I don't think Obama and his minions will say Republicans were responsible for the actual bill, I DO believe they will try to pin its poor implementation (as if it could be implemented in any other way), will be the result of delay tactics by Republicans and the right-wing Tea Party.
It will be key for the 2014 elections, to see how the GOP responds to this. Unfortunately, they seem to be more reactionary--waiting for the Democrats to deliver the first message.
If the Republicans understood public relations they would be bringing up a bill every month in the House to repeal Obamacare. Once passed it would go to the Senate where Harry Reid would bury it. The entire Republican Congressional delegation would then stand on the Capitol steps chanting “Harry Reid won’t allow a vote”. This should happen every month like clockwork so they go on the record at least a dozen times as having voted it down before the 2014 elections. Then run on an anti healthcare agenda in 2014 using every dollar they can raise to cover the airwaves and inundate the internet.
For some reason the Republicans don’t realize the media will not get their message out. If they don’t undertake outrageous stunts they won’t get on the air. They have to break through the media blackout.
