Not going to be discussed, because a) the teacher's union won't stand for it and b) many parents rely on the "babysitter" feature of sending them off for the day. Point b) is relevant both for the druggies and other social detritus but also for many career folks who are away at work all day.
Yes, I agree. If I had children, which I am not going to, I would not send them to school at all.
It seems to me that the purpose of school these days is to utterly destory children, and they are effective at it in a number of ways.
