Peter MacGregor (R) on February 9, 2016, to establish a regulatory framework for “telehealth†services provided by a medical professional through interactive video, audio or other telecommunications method. The bill requires providers to get informed consent from the patient, comply with “applicable standards of care,†and refer a patient to local providers where indicated, but does not appear to impose a state licensure requirement (other state regulations may have this effect however).
