I seem to remember that the Embassy in Cairo issued some sort of “apology” either that day or the next. 9/11 was on Tuesday and by the next Sunday Susan Rice was on all the talk shows. I will never forget the sequence of events, because mr. claret and I were out of town and listed to Fox News in the car on our way home that Sunday. It seems like the apology ad was aired in Pakistan that next week. I thought at the time how weird the “apology ad” was. Don’t forget, that ad caused a lot more people to die in riots.

There is a huge amount of blood on these people’s hands.

But as has been said before, “What was the secret that was more important than the Ambassador’s life?”

Here's a reference to 2 drones but it doesn't mention if the 2nd drone was armed (Source: Gretawire/Fox).
Fox News has learned that there were two military surveillance drones redirected to Benghazi shortly after the attack on the consulate began. They were already in the vicinity. The second surveillance craft was sent to relieve the first drone, perhaps due to fuel issues. Both were capable of sending real time visuals back to U.S. officials in Washington, D.C. Any U.S. official or agency with the proper clearance, including the White House Situation Room, State Department, CIA, Pentagon and others, could call up that video in real time on their computers.
Further down in the article, there is also this...
The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes based in Sigonella Air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. Fox News has also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

It was a “pre-emptive” apology. Before the violence happened.

I’m almost beginning to think this “apology” was a signal for some sort plan to be implemented.

The apology is linked to the video - so it is necessarily linked to the cover up following Benghazi.

It is almost like the cover up story began even prior to anything happening in Benghazi.

Did this man get fired for telling Washington to go to hell when he was ordered to let the Ambassador and his defenders die?

This is why I’ve thought almost from the beginning that this whole incident was planned and scripted by HC and BO. The “videos,” “apology ads,” Susan Rice interviews, etc. were just way too “convenient.” It’s almost as if there was a timeline planned about when things would happen. The fact that the “filmmaker” is now in custody, explains a lot, too. That happened to convince all of us peons that they are actively working to “find the video maker and bring him to justice,” as HC told Ty Woods’ father. The reality is that with the “video maker” in custody, no one can ask him about it, so he can’t blab that it was done on the instructions of HC & BO.

That leaves me leaning towards 2 theories.

1. Benghazi was an intentional plot to kidnap the Ambassador and exchange him for the Blind Sheik.

or

2. Benghazi was an intentional plot to hide the fact a Fast and Furious operation was occurring in the Middle East.

In both scenarios the “terrorists” are in cahoots with Obama.
And this would explain the stand down order.

If his buddies get blown up, they will turn on him and start talking.

I don’t think it’s and/or. I think it’s both. However, even though both are bad, I just have the feeling there is a third scenario and it’s even worse than those two. But my tiny brain can’t even imagine what it could be. Arming terriorists in order to invade the US would be really stupid, but giving nuke secrets/materials to Iran might accomplish his goals.

And yet - he would need a group of people to facilitate this type of thing.
Who would these people be that would interface with the bad guys on his behalf?

Has anyone been keeping track of the recent whereabouts of Bill Ayers?

because officials did not have enough information about what was going on before the attack was over

This is one of those mindless, ad infinitum arguments of which Demonrats are so fond, while their cannon fodder rank and file "just miss" the logic because of their publik skool edumacation.

As with the bogeymen of taxing the rich, contributing to chirrun's education, and sex, I'm certain they would endorse, one can simply never reach any goal lines of "OK, that's enough for now!" when one demands others make room for carefulness and a need for information to one's own judgments. Yeah, "tax the rich!" We already do, at a far greater rate than some 47% tend to appreciate. But how few of them ever also consider that the status quo just might be OK?   Or does every meter exist for the sole purpose of being pegged?

Yeah, contribute to children's education! But we already contribute an average of what, $14,000/child to that? Lots more than almost every other country! And we get what? Fourteenth in the international rankings for that as such get laundered through the teachers' unions and the politicians' palms?

When mottoes like "You never leave a buddy behind!" aren't operative in your selfish, heroless world, it's forever OK just to demand--as Panetta's choice here proves, by his having chosen it---more information when in fact, you simply don't want to make a decision and would prefer just vote "present." After all, you don't want to be like Jimmy Cahtuh and prove to everyone that their Carter analogy to this administration was correct!

Oh, and for what too much sex can do to you, I refer you to the movie "Brainstorm".

Can he be arrested if he is charged with a crime? Is there anything in the Constitution or laws which excludes him from being subject to law enforcement? If he is unable to carry out his duties, for whatever reason (such as if he is in jail), the Vice-President assumes the duties immediately, correct?

This is not the fault of our Military.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Stop it. You have, again, DELIBERATELY distorted my argument!

The brave, noble, and highly trained men and women serving our nation have been ABANDONED by our very highest military officers. These very highest officers, those with the **maximum** brass have turned their backs on their oath to defend the Constitution and on our noble military.

If you gave a twit about the brave soldiers who have come home maimed or dead due to insane rules of engagement and embassies left defenseless you too would be condemning those **very highest military** who have failed to honor their oath, and have allowed, and continue to allow, a usurper to sit in the White House.

Before he is impeached and found guilty? Probably not. The VP carries on for the President if the President is unable to carry out his duties. The President is the chief law-enforcement officer of the land, but he has no Constitutional immunity from the other branches of the gov't. The Constitutional remedies are impeachment/conviction and elections.

Impeachment is to kick him out of office, right? But if the President committed murder (for instance) it wouldn’t be Congress that would have him arrested, investigated, prosecuted, and tried, would it? It’s still law enforcement that tries crimes - even for POTUS, correct?

If Obama was known to have committed (let’s say) perjury, who would arrest him, according to the Constitution and laws?

Back to the thread, I think that Stevens was allowed to die because the administration knew it was Assad’s forces attacking and they would clear out those weapons-laden warehouses in an efficient manner and thus leave little to no evidence.

If he isn’t impeached and convicted, he can pardon himself. If he committed perjury, charges for high crimes and misdemeanors would get handled in the House. If he was ‘indicted’ by the House or impeached, he would be tried by the Senate. If found guilty he’d be removed from office.

No matter the ‘crime’ the solution remains political. House=>Senate=>removal

Thanks TigersEye. Steely Tom, evidently the capability was there to lase, but the support was not on site. Rehearing the report, I would agree that my premise that something had to be overhead if they were lasing was not accurate. Sorry to mislead.
