Lima, Peru (CNN) -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the buck stops with her when it comes to who is to blame for security ahead of a deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.
"I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru, for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, was the first she has given about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
Clinton insisted President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are not involved in security decisions.

I always thought he Secretary of State and the Dept. of State were under the authority of the Chief Executive. This is the first time I have heard that the SOS sets all our foreign policy decisions.
Oh, well. It’s just another thing that Obama outsources to someone else. At least Hilary is a US citizen.
If Obama tries to skewer Romney tomorrow with outsourcing jobs overseas, all Romney needs to reply is, “Well, you have outsourced our space program to Russia, and now have abdicated responsibility for the Dept. of State. Are there any other things the voters should know about outsourcing in the White House?”

I’ve been expecting something from the Clintons. I think this will only hurt Obama.
I don’t think it’s premature, more like leading prediction. I can’t see her trying to become the commander in chief when she admits that she refused to let the Marines have ammo for their weapons, refused to post a security guard at the Benghazi US post, and did absolutely nothing while the attack went on for six hours and she and the state department monitored it. She used to talk about being ready for the 3 am wakeup call, well she slept in. I predict she’ll retire to be a guest college lecture next year.
I don’t think so. She’s doing this over a month after the event, after saying just about everything else in the universe first, going with whatever line was being fed out of the White House or spewed by Susan Rice.
Even so, she pinned the blame on an unnamed underling as if this were just a slip-up. She took no responsibility for the policy that created the situation in the first place (and of course, it isn’t her policy; she just does what Valerie Jarrett and the gang, speaking through the mouth of Obama, tell her to do).
She doesn’t look credible at all, especially doing this from outside the country - just before a crucial presidential debate where everybody knows the issue is probably going to be brought up.
Not only does it make her look weak and foolish, it makes Obama look even weaker and more cowardly than he is.

Well Hillary, who Hires Security professionals who will not send Marines anywhere in Libya,and then Hire Feb 17th Brigade Muslims for security and tell them Not to Put Bullets in their Guns?
If she accepts Responsiblity when is the Party for Her retirement? What are the Consequences for this Massive Incompetence,Intentional lying to the American People and Massive FAILURE?
