what i dont understand, if the notice is a legal requirement, and someone is blatantly advocating/coercing the breaking of the law, why isnt someone advocating/pursuing charges ???

You mean why isnt Eric Holder pursuing charges against his master? You need to ask?

In this case it sounds like the employees can sue the contractors and so Obama claims the Feds will pony up cash to pay them for any claims made on them, only if the automatic budget cuts actually go through. The conventional wisedom is the Rs will surrender on somethjing to avoid these cuts.

My question is : is this a credible promise to the contractors?

Are they just doing this because they are intimidated?
