Manhattan man to challenge Obama's appearance on the November ballot
Staff reports
September 13, 2012 12:00 AM

A Manhattan man was scheduled to argue before state officials Thursday afternoon that President Obama's name should not be allowed on the November general election ballot.

The appeal by Joe Montgomery was to be heard by The Kansas Board of Objections, a three-person body that resolves ballot-eligibility issues. The board is comprised of Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer, Secretary of State Kris Kobach and Atty. Gen. Derek Schmidt. All three are Republicans.

In material filed with the Secretary of State's office, Montgomery argues that Obama's name should be stricken from the ballot because he does not meet the constitutional requirement that candidates have been "born in this country to parents who are both U.S. citizens, primarily to a U.S. citizen father."

Wainscott specifically rejects Montgomery's assertion that Obama's qualification is undermined by his father's non-citizen status. "For over a hundred years the Supreme Court has held otherwise, he argues.

Where, when?

Willard doesnt want birthers challenging Obamas fathe’s status...

Willard also had a father who was born elsewhere, Mexico, and who may not have been an American citixen when Willard was born...

Willard’s own father was challenged on his status when he ran for POTUS in 1964, 1968...

O.K. Now I get it. Compliance with the law should only be demanded if it benefits one of the candidates? Sounds like something Juan Williams would cobble together...WADR.

Can somebody ping the Kansas list? We need people to contact this panel and urge them to do what is right.

I’m having troubles finding the return receipts for Kansas for some reason, but I remember seeing them come in because the states closest to Nebraska came in first. I’ll have the post office confirm with the tracking number tomorrow, but I am sure that two of the guys on that 3-person panel - the SOS and the AG - have received letters from Larry Klayman explaining that they themselves would have to commit election fraud to allow Obama on the ballot, since HI state registrar has legally confirmed that Obama has no legally-valid birth certificate in Hawaii; any Certification of Nomination they receive is thus immediately recognized as perjurious, and anyone who knows it is perjurious and still allows Obama on the ballot is him/herself complicit in election fraud.

With this challenge right there, they are placed in a LEGAL setting where they are held to account for what they know. We need Kansans to step up and tell these guys that we know they have been informed of this, and this cup will NOT pass from them. They are on the spot; will THEY commit election fraud for Obama?

The way that America goes down is if EVERY SOS and EVERY AG in the country is willing to commit election fraud for Obama. There is no way for these people to punt; they’ve been informed. Now what will they do?

We have to tell them we know and that we are watching to see what the rule of law means to them. And we will not forget what their answer is.

Eh ???

Do you really think afdter what McCain had to go through that Obama will give Willard a pass ???

McCain should never have had to haqe the Senate vote on whether he was eligible...

That was disgraceful...

Dont think Obama wont use Willard;s father against him if someone manages to be listened to about Obama Sr...

Meanwhile if Obama does have to step down Hillary has shot herself in the head and wont be able to take his place...

Her treasonous behavior this week will go bad with her...

They will commit election fraud for "Obama." Every. Last. One.

The rule of law is dead. Long live the Rule of Law.

The Board said they need more information before deciding if he is eligible to be on the ballot; they will meet again on Monday. Let’s make sure they get plenty more information before Monday!!

That’s one business day. We’ve got one business day to get them the information before they meet again.

Both the AG and SOS have received a letter via certified mail from Larry Klayman, a follow-up letter signed by Tom Ballantyne, Terry Lakin, Charles Kerchner, Lawrence Sellen, and Gary Wilmott, and a personal letter from me giving a summary of the legal evidence we currently have.

One of the things I mentioned in my letter to the SOS’s is that Mike Zullo had contacted some SOS’s who had said they would not accept Onaka’s verification as proof of Obama’s eligibility. I said that Onaka’s verification actually goes much farther than that. It’s not just that Onaka didn’t verify Obama’s birth facts - it’s that Onaka confirmed that he CAN’T verify Obama’s birth facts because there is no legally-valid record. That means there’s not just an absence of proof that Obama is eligible, but actual proof that he’s NOT. There is nobody in this country who can LAWFULLY swear that Obama is eligible.

That puts this on a whole different level. The SOS’s don’t have to take extraordinary measures in order to know Obama is non-eligible. They have only to obey the law. And at this point for them to allow Obama on the ballot, given the presumption of regularity that applies to Onaka’s verification, would be an act of election fraud on their part.

Has Larry Klayman been in contact of any of the attorney generals or SoS ?

If by registered mail the recipient has to sign it, the postal service has to return a signed receipt ? correct ?
This can't be because they refused to sign those letters ?

Beyond the letters, I don’t know. But he is aware of the situation in Kansas and I’m hoping he will make additional contact.

I wish there was a way to convey to these guys that just as the whole country sat on pins and needles to see if Scott Walker would stand for us all, the whole country needs some solid, secure, salt-of-the-earth Midwesterners to do what the good, clean air and small-town existence has taught us to do: tell the truth and live honestly. It’s a courageous act when nobody around will do it, but Scott Walker was able to stand up to the unions and was rewarded for it, and Kansas can stand up to Bob Bauer.
