Good a chance at what? Winning Powerball? Finding a four leaf clover? Seeing big foot? Because if you mean winning the presidency, you need your head examined! There are two major parties in the United States. The Democrats and the Republicans. Since their formation and the dissolution of the Whig and Federalist parties, every president has come from those two parties. Every one. Yet you claim that a man from a tiny third party, who isn't on the ballot in every state, has as much chance as Mitt Romney, the man who'll be the Republican nominee in a few weeks? How do you expect anyone here to take you seriously when you say something like that?I want you to assume that I think that Tom's chances of winning this year are roughly zero. Now, try to hold that fact in your head when you read what I wrote:
"I'm sticking with Tom Hoefling. He's the real thing and he has every bit as good a chance as Romney this year."
If you're still mystified by the meaning of that simple statement, read it again on November 7, the day after the election.
I like my neighbor Rick a lot; he is pretty sharp and would make a good President. Maybe I will vote for him. I could probably get a couple others on my block to also vote for him.
That would really show Obama.
