Elsie, one thing has become obvious to me in reading these threads. Not one of the people slamming you for actually standing by your faith has actually read and digested ANY of the things you posted that come directly from the Mormons themselves. They have, however, taken wholly to the language and tactics of the liberals, with their hurling ‘bigot’ and ‘hater’. It rolls from their keyboards as if they’ve said it a thousand times before. On the other hand, those words and tactics are foreign to any actual conservative I ever new...and I have known many. So until they actually do read and digest the actual words of the Mormon faith as it applies to all us evil people, I suggest they shut the hell up and do so. Arguing from a position of emotionalism rather than information never won an argument or turned a heart. That they don’t like your methods is one thing. But facts are what they are. And these people do not get to invent their own.

With all due respect Norm, and I am sincere in saying that, why should everyone have someone's beliefs rammed down our throats? Why is that OK?

Why should I read something I have no interest in? Why should I care about something just because Elsie tells me I should? I don't care about Mormons. I don't care what they believe. I don't want to have to wade through a constant stream of anti-Mormon posts. They do not belong on threads other than those in religion.

This doesn't make me a liberal, or anti-Christ, it simply makes me a person who dislikes being told what I should read, how I should feel, how I should act and what I should believe.

How would some posters here like it if I decided that their religion was wrong, that they must listen to me, that they are all doomed if they don't follow my beliefs and if I bombarded them with graphics and interminable posts endlessly? They wouldn't like it one bit.

With due respect returned, it makes a person look incredibly stupid when they bitch about things they havent even read, does it not?

You may hate the way Elsie presents this info. Many seem to. But until you DO read it and critically evaluate it based on fact rather than knee jerk emotional reaction, you cannot expect to be taken seriously.

One simple question to ask yourself. Do you deny what they themselves have written? But you’d first have to read it.
