...They were standing up for free speech and against political correctness. They were applauding with their purchase the courage shown by the owners of this restaurant. They did not back down in the face of forceful, even hateful, opposition from those who, while claiming to be tolerant have become so intolerant of those who do not agree with them.
...What occurred on August 1, 2012 ...holds great promise for the coming election. The real people of America, the salt of the earth, have had 'ENOUGH!" They came in in cars and on foot to Chick-Fil-A restaurants everywhere. The reports of the numbers across the Nation are astounding.
"Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day" was not started by the owners of the restaurant chain. Mike Huckabee first mentioned it and then it took on a life of its own. It was propelled by real people who still believe that the values which informed the American experiment in ordered liberty are still the path to a future of freedom.
As I received my chicken I said to the smiling assistant at the window "Who would have ever thought this would happen". She responded with a smile "it gives me hope for America". Me too! If people will go to Chick-Fil-A to make this kind of statement, they will go to the voting booth on November 8, 2012. There, they can do something far more important.
They can cast their vote to affirm Life, defend Marriage, protect Freedom and promote the values which alone will ensure that America's greatest days are still ahead of us. Chick-fil-A Day reveals the way to a victory for Marriage, Life and Freedom on November 8, 2012. Maybe we should call Election day Freedom Appreciation Day and mobilize these same "salt of the earth" people to change history....

This isn’t Palmito Ranch; Columbus, Georgia; Bentonville, North Carolina; or even Appomattox Court House. So long as we don’t do anything stupid and assume it’s over and we won, we’re fine. I’m just worried we’ll look at this as a “successful” Gettysburg, assume the war is over, and go home. If we do that, the Democrats will win, and this time we’ll all be their slaves.
Very well put.
I think the opposite is true -
people are so fed up with the left, and election day isn’t for a couple of months yet, they needed some way to express themselves.
This was a warmup for November.
We have to make sure you’re right. We can’t afford to let up, nor can we afford to have any decent person stay home on election day. We need to work as poll watchers to keep fraud down. We need to get all of our patriotic friends and neighbors to the polls, regardless of their enthusiasm for Romney, so that we can take the Senate and expand our House majority. Most of all, we need to stay involved so that the far left can’t take advantage of a lapse in concentration. This could easily be the last American election that matters, and those who want government to control our lives know that even better than we do.
Thanks! The vid is disgusting to watch, but everyone here needs to see the face & hear the voice of the enemy.
The creep berating the Chick Fil-A girl has just stirred up a hornets’ nest. He took down his vid but it’s at gatewaypundit.com. So is his email address; tell him what he really is.
Anyway, this is just a foreshadow of tomorrow. The stormtroopers of the Gaystapo will be running rampant against Chick Fil-A in the larger cities and it will be SHTF.
PS Calling homofascists Nazis is based on historical fact. Look it up.
All we need is for the homos to attack someone or something on or about 10/31...
When I got my sandwiches at the drive up window, the young woman said “Thank you sir”, to which I responded “Have a Blessed Day”. She replied “God Bless You Sir”.
I believe we have to celebrate each and every victory along the way. It would have been easy for George Washington to give up that winter in Valley Forge, or to say, “Well, Lexington/Concord was one small victory but we shouldn’t get our hopes up. Those guys are tough, they are well-trained, their uniforms are spiffy.”
Each small victory along the way tells us something about the larger battle - in this case, that our army is much larger and more energized than we have been led to believe. Each small victory serves to encourage the troops for the next battle.
A rout, by itself, is no guarantee of victory - who can know the future? But it is a rout, and it is right and proper to celebrate it.

What a jerk. Taped himself berating the girl, got a bunch of bad comments on you tube and took the video down. The comments on that site hosting the video are mostly against him. I bet he will be in hiding shortly.
Is it possible that the Court system could stand some serious disinfecting?
Nice. Just as one would expect.
