An academic "center" need not have its own exclusive physical building in order to exist. It can share office space in another academic department, use random classrooms, etc.
you’re wasting your breath, the East West Centre only came into the discussion way back in 2008 on the long threads because we couldn’t find any record of a Russian Class or teachers of Russian at the university itself, so the good little obots popped in to tell us that the Russian Classes took place at the East-West Centre.
Now that we know there WERE two Russian teachers at the U of HI - you can stop telling us about an Academic Centre chartered by the UN...it isn’t, and never was, relative...IF present information is correct, that is.
