2 “men” sentenced? Sounds more like a spoiled little kid that will live in moms basement forever.
I had to click through to the article to see how old this kid is - he's a freaking 20-year-old alleged adult!
And he's whinging because the judge won't let him go back home to mommy's basement and let him make more threatening phoney phone calls.
Did any articles mention what his DU screenname is?
Sounds like the little turd was close to a contempt of court charge.
Not enough of a come-uppance if you ask me.
I pity the parents even though they are not blameless...
Well I have contempt for that court as well..
He should get at least a year.....
Judge Burgess has more patience than I have. I would have slapped a contempt charge on that little twerp.
“Good! The rotten punk gets rightful comeuppance for his vicious behavior.”

Rightful? I think not.
Particularly after he attacked the judge.
Typical spoiled, no-nothing, hateful little Leftist twirp.
If I were the judge and the kid pulled that crap on me, I’d sentence the little twerp to 90 days of water-boarding after each meal.
According to an affidavit by the FBI, Craig Christy threatened to kill Tiemessen in one obscenity-filled message, and in another, Shawn Christy said he might have sex with Palin. The younger Christy also threatened to come to Alaska and rape one of the attorneys, according to the document.
The restraining orders were issued after Palin left office.
The order against Shawn Christy was issued in 2010 after he was accused of stalking Palin. It was renewed last year after Palin testified that Christy appeared to be sending a clear signal when he made a one-day visit to Alaska on her February birthday.
Palin also said she feared Christys parents because of their claim that she had a sexting relationship with their son in 2009, when he was a teen.
The order against Craig Christy was issued last year after he was accused of barraging Palins parents with telephone messages.

The Daily Beasts Diane Herbst provides a fascinating (and/or confusing and/or infuriating and/or incredibly sad) interview with Karen Christy, the wife of Craig Christy and mother to Shawn Christy. According to Ms. Christy, the root of this fiasco is none other than Willow Palin, Sarah Palins second eldest daughter, who made headlines of her own for writing a slur-laden Facebook rant.

In 2009, she says, her son began receiving text messages and phone calls from who we believe is Willow Palin. She says that Sarah Palin would also send him texts from time to time, and that some of these texts were sexually explicit in nature. However, Karen maintains that she does not know exactly what these alleged text messages said.
Karen says that the restraining orders placed by Palins people resulted in her husband losing two jobs. The family found themselves strapped for cash and frustrated at not being able to communicate with legal officials involved with the restraining orders, so Shawn flew to Alaska to do some law research. This is the trip Palin referred to in her testimony.
Comeuppance?! Wha-a-a-a-at? He gets to run home to mummy, and that’s comeuppance?
Ping!
(Are these some of James Carville's "Alabama" folks?) </sarc>
This pampered little pr!ck better not get into any kind of trouble that would put him into a real prison.
"Why can't I go home now?" he said.
"Because I'm not letting you go home," Burgess said, prompting Christy to ask what was the judge's reason for imposing the order.
"It has to do with consequences," Burgess said. "It's part of the consequences for your behavior."
"I understand my behavior, and I understand this is ridiculous," Christy said.
Oh, how I wish the Judge at that point would have said,
"Well, let's make it more rediculous for you then. I find you in contempt and sentence you to twelve more months at the detention facility, to run squestnially after your first sentence."
"Is that rediculous enough for you, or would you like more?"

“Both Christys apologized Friday for their actions.”
Only because the prosecution had them dead to rights and they were hoping the court would ameliorate their sentences. If it hadn’t been for that, they would have bragged about it to everyone they met.
Thank you for the ping SW :)
Nice news, indeed ;)
