If American Jews did in fact vote on the basis of what is good for the State of Israel, they would be bashed just as often on FR for being traitors to America. They can’t win, which is why they have no problem just ignoring outsiders’ arguments.
They are American citizens and should be loyal to the USA. However, they should also be loyal to the ideals of Israel and the USA, such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You can't be a Democrat and hold those ideals in high regard. The two are mutually exclusive.
