Hell with his apology. The idiot said exactly what he meant to say.

Wonder if both the people that heard his original comment also heard his apology.

I keep trying to find an apology and I can't.
There's no “there” there.

In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests [hearts] and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honour and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.

War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things;
the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse.
A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.John Stuart Mill

Something about this part of his apology doesn’t sit well with me
“I don’t think I lived up to the standards of rigor, respect and empathy for those affected by the issues we discuss that I’ve set for myself”
The problem wasn’t that he hates the military it was that he didn’t follow the high standards he set for himself.

This is SOP for MSNBC commies and cowards. Insult our troops and them lamely apologize in order to keep their “phoney, baloney jobs”.
Fire his ass. Looks like the MSNBC (Mentally Ill, Nothing But Crap) bus undercarriage is getting awfully crowded.

Well, thank goodness he didn't call anyone a Slut.
That being said, I assume this is the kickoff of “The Democrat's War On Fallen Heroes”.

Did he try to get away with it because he knows his viewing audience is so low that it might go unnoticed?
