Did you hear what Sarah Palin did in Texas? (We have some big news coming out of Texas!)

We have some big news coming out of Texas!

We got word from Tea Party Express endorsed Texas U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz that he just received the powerful endorsement of former Alaskan Governor and U.S. Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her husband Todd Palin.

This is a major boost for the surging conservative from Texas in his quest to champion Tea Party values of fiscal responsibility in the U.S. Senate.  Gov. Palins endorsement carries a lot of weight with conservatives and Tea Party groups.  It was just this last week that she put her stamp of approval on Tea Party Express endorsed Nebraska U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mpourdock and is, in our opinion, the one that put him over the top in defeating Sen. Dick Lugar.

Governor Sarah Palin wrote: “We’re proud to join conservatives in Texas and throughout the nation in supporting your (Ted Cruz) campaign to become the next Senator from the Lone Star State.”
.
Ted Cruz responded  "I am humbled and honored to have Governor Palin’s support as we fight to restore fiscal sanity to the circus that is Washington."
.

.
Governor Palin added in her response: “Your conservative principles, passionate defense of our Constitution and our free market system come at a time when these cornerstones of our freedom and prosperity are under attack. Our shared goal isn’t just to change the majority in control of the Senate, but to assure principled conservatives like you are there to fight for us.”
With Governor Palin’s support, and the support of tens of thousands of conservatives from all across Texas, we will turn our country around, rein in out-of-control spending and debt in Wa.
.

.
If you haven't heard about Ted Cruz, here is a little about why we have endorsed him and are fighting to send him to Washington:
.
Ted Cruz is a self-professed child of the Reagan revolution.  His parents fled Cuba after experiencing an oppressive government and instilled in Ted a profound respect and appreciation for freedom.  He understands that it is not our government that makes America run, but our entrepreneurial spirit.  He made money as a kid by reciting the Constitution from memory to Rotary Clubs in Texas and giving speeches on free-market economics.
.
As Solicitor General of Texas from 2003-2008, Cruz authored 80 U.S. Supreme Court briefs and personally argued 40 oral arguments, including 9 before the Supreme Court.  Named “a Republican star rising in Texas” and “a great Reaganite hope” by the National Review, Ted Cruz has led the fight against Obama’s offshore drilling moratorium and for private property rights for Americans.  His “Growth and Jobs Agenda” promotes a limited government plan that pledges to repeal ObamaCare and Dodd-Frank, kill Cap and Trade, and dramatically simplify the tax code.

We were honored to travel around the great state of Texas with him last month to endorse his campaign and hope that you will be as excited as we are about his candidacy.  We just held numerous rallies for Ted Cruz all across Texas this last week to rally support as part of our "Restoring the American Dream" bus tour.

We have a great candidate that we all need to support to send him to Washington!

One of Tea Party Express’ top priorities in 2012 is to elect a conservative majority to the U.S. Senate, and thanks to patriots like Ted Cruz, we are well on our way to doing just that.  But we need your support if we are going to be successful and finish the work we all started in 2010.

“I’ll pass.”

Me too.

The Chinese company issue is really messed up and Cruz is supposed to have some anti communist leanings... Oh well I guess when they offered him money he left his morals at the door.

“PAID FOR BY DEWHURST FOR TEXAS”

If you dont’ beleive the links, go to Ted Cruz’s site and read his explanation of the issue. Cruz has admited his backing for the Chinese.

You’re letting dislike of dewhurst cloud your judgement. Ted Cruz has admited backing the Chinese against Jordan Fishman.

I don’t like Dewhurst but this issue is about as big a show stopper for me on Cruz as anything could be. Maybe Fishman could run!

Truth:

This lawsuit has not impacted even a single American manufacturing job. In the 1990s, long before Mr. Fishman filed the lawsuit that David Dewhurst is trying to use to to smear Ted Cruz, Fishman moved his entire mining tire manufacturing to China. Fishman decided two decades ago to use Chinese labor, not American labor, to manufacture tires.

...since my presidential choices have all been shot down! GRR!

Mine, too!

Since I refuse to vote for Romney, I will go all out to load up the House and Senate with as many true conservatives as I can, including Ted Cruz. I am GLAD to finally be rid of Kay Bailey Hutchinson. She started out ok, but quickly went "Washington". Good riddance!!

If we own the Congress, we can control whomever is in the WH.

I'm going to vote Cruz, but every 4 years I get pissed off at the nomination process. Notice that Texas (what America used to be) voters will only have one GOP candidate to choose from this time. While Iowa, New Hampshire and a few other states had the luxury of having multiple candidates, we Texans don't have a choice by the time we get to vote.

Those who support this system are part of the problem.

What really galls me is the GOP allowing open primaries, letting democrats have a say in who they nominate.

Plus their refusal to fight against voter fraud in an effective manner.

They think they will get the illegal alien insurgent criminal colonist's vote? No way!

Here's an update to this thread:

Sarah Palin's endorsement has brought momentum to the Ted Cruz campaign at just the right time - the election is in 2 weeks!

We got word from Tea Party Express endorsed Texas U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz that the recent endorsement that he received from Sarah Palin has given his campaign a huge boost and added energy.

Many are referring to it as the Sarah Palin bounce: Just hours after the 2008 vice presidential nominee endorsed Ted Cruz, the headquarters in Austin reported a swift and positive reaction.

Campaign manager John Drogin confirmed that Palin's endorsement "has added HUGE buzz to our campaign.  Phones are ringing, online contributions are pouring in, and supporters are more excited than ever on our social networks."
.
This could not have come at a better time as the election is only 2 WEEKS away!  We must build on the momentum that Sarah Palin has provided us with.  The polls are tightening and Ted Cruz is closing in on his opponent David Dewhurst.
.
Just like in Indiana, the Tea Party candidate is surging at just the right time, but we need your immediate support to push him ahead!

Governor Sarah Palin wrote: “We’re proud to join conservatives in Texas and throughout the nation in supporting your (Ted Cruz) campaign to become the next Senator from the Lone Star State.”

Thank you for noticing the details (which do matter, though they are small) ... but did YOU try to contact the organization yourself?

Yes, I know I’m speaking to an activist - like myself - but I do write them when I see comparable problems in comparable issues and similar websites.

"We MUST keep the House, take the Senate and make sure Obama is out of our White House!"

Hmmm...seems simple enough. I'm in, let's give it go.

When I go to vote I am going to tell myself that I am voting Obama out of the White House. It will make it easier for me to vote the entire ticket.....
