Defense Secretary Leon Panetta says a new Pentagon report concludes that last year's repeal of the ban on gays serving openly in the military has not affected military morale or readiness.

Because soldiers have been ordered to not allow the end of DADT to impact moral or readiness. /s

You put a sarcasm tag on that, but you're more right than you realize. The officers will present the party line, and the enlisted know better than to gripe in front of the officers. Hence the illusion that "everyone's fine with this."
