Principled stance perhaps, but a wise stance? What is wise about giving Barack Obama the Supreme Court for the next generation or two?
I don't claim any special privilege but I want you to know something about me so that you don't accuse me of being the casual Freeper. I have been with this site since 1998. I carried JimRob up the steps of the Architecture Museum (of course with the assistance of several other Freepers grabbing a part of the chair.) I have given over $4000 to the support of this site. And I fear for the future of my granddaughters who will have to live with the results of a second Obama term, a continuation of the tyranny, a continuation of using the Constitution as toilet paper. I would vote for Dennis Kucinich if I had to in order to stop this Kenyan Communist Bastard from continuing in office. Anybody who can't vote for Romney to save his and my grandchildren and the ones that follow them is too wrapped up in himself to give a damn about this country. If you can't vote for Romney at this point you are more like Bill Ayers who wanted to destroy the country and replace it with something in his own image.

I’m not about to call you a casual Freeper——I’ve only been here posting a few months, LOL!
I said Jim’s post is wise because of his effort to make peace here. We all have to make our own decisions about voting for Romney. Many will do it to get Obama out-—I understand that completely. Dear Lord, how badly I want him out. Some will just be unable to vote for Romney due to religious reasons, or on the basis of principle, and will vote downticket for conservatives. I happen to fall in the latter group. But we knew this would happen if Romney got the nomination.
Who says he will have it? If we had a conservative Senate leader and a decent majority, we could SHUT DOWN any Obama SCOTUS picks for the next 4 years.
I want the failures and the civil war to be on OBAMA's watch, not a GOPer, not even Romney.
