WASHINGTON (AP) -- The killing of Osama bin Laden, first presented as a moment of national unity by President Barack Obama, has become something else: a political weapon.

The broader goal for Obama, whether through campaign web videos or the trappings of the White House, is not to just to remind voters of an enormous victory on his watch. It is to maximize a political narrative that he has the courage to make tough calls that his opponent might not.

Obamalamadingdong claiming credit for killing OBL is like a rooster taking credit for the dawn. Those guys were in place for five months yelling to go in. Bush had the team organized during his administration. The Child-In-Chief laid the whole trip on the admiral in charge in case it failed. Our SEALS don’t fail that’s why he took the credit.
Call me a skeptic, but I am not comvinced binladen was who was killed. The GOV certainly has the capacity to cook up a scenario to benefit itself.

And a chopper full of SEALs died shortly thereafter. Were they the seals that knew too much? Likely. When the news of their demise first came out it was reported that they were the same SEALs that had been involved in the Osama bin Laden operation. Shortly thereafter it was reported that they were not. Which one was it? I would guess that the first account was true and then "sanitized" to not let the public think that their untimely deaths were a bit too peculiar. What the facts really are, few can tell.
